We are Local
It all started with an idea to celebrate local people, places and creativity. What began as a conversation over some mediocre beer between friends quickly grew into a desire to build something that felt true to where we’re from — and to the communities that shape us.
At its core, local is about localism in all its forms. It’s about backing people doing their thing, supporting community, and shining a light on creativity close to home. Clothing is our starting point — a canvas for storytelling and self-expression — but more importantly, it’s a way to bring people together under a shared mindset.
We believe in making things thoughtfully and responsibly. Sustainability isn’t a buzzword for us; it’s a commitment to doing better, from the materials we choose to the way we produce and consume. We’re focused on creating pieces that last, both in quality and in meaning.
This is just the beginning. Local is an ongoing adventure — shaped by where we’re from, the people around us, and the belief that supporting local, wherever you are, really does matter.

It's so easy to get caught up on what's going wrong with the world that we easy forget about the small and big things that make life enjoyable.
We're calling on locals -- whatever your trade, calling or passion in life -- to join us on this adventure and celebrate the good of where we come from, and to see where we can go from here.
Thinking Sustainably
It can be such a buzzword at moment, but we're serious about how we build local in everything we do.
For us sustainability doesn't just mean off-setting our carbon footprint. It's choosing to be as local as we possibly can, to put people first and bring back the village mentality.
